Painting allows me to pause and reflect on my journey through life. I am able to better appreciate the colors and beauty of the natural world and connect with it on a deeper level. Watercolor is my choice of medium; the wet-in-wet interaction of colors is fascinating and stimulating in all of its permutations. I also enjoy the camaraderie with other artists who are endlessly helpful.
Arizona has been my home for the past thirty years. I fell in love with the desert landscape, so different from my native England, upon my arrival and have since come to appreciate all the varied landscapes within this State.
I live in a split-level house with my husband and two cats. We are active and like to ski, hike and backpack.
