My work is influenced by anything I find exciting, utilizing unusual textures, subjects and vivid colors.
My aim is to attract the viewer’s eye and engage them in thought.
The ability to use a variety of media enables me to be eclectic and diverse in both subject and style.

I strive to give my work a spark of the unexpected. Oscar Wilde once said,
“No great artist ever sees things as they are. If they did they would cease to be an artist.”
Anything I find exciting can inspire a new idea.

Was a participant in the Sonoran Arts League HIDDEN IN THE HILLS for 18 years.
My work has been in galleries in the United States, Australia and New Zealand,
in both private and corporate collections.

Teaching a Studio Art Program at the high school level in Massachusetts
for aspiring artists was one of my most rewarding experiences.
Presently I continue to teach classes in various media and which allows me to share my passion.

Affiliations: Juried member of Arizona Artist Guild, Sonoran Arts League,
Member of Contemporary Watercolorists of AZ, AZ Artists Alliance and
Scottsdale Artists League.
